Hi, just run my new OBD11 on my B7 2.0TFSI Sline SE,
Just run a full scan, it lacks information, not like the Vag-Com scan results that lists all modules, and faults in one pass.
In modle 46, were is the long coding ?
I was checking for the alarm bleep when locking the doors, but cannot find it, but I added it with long coding helper with Vag-Com.?
any advice please.

A better description of why and what device you are trying to use it on would help get a sensible answer.

Hi, please explain, I described what the problem was, Module 46 Comfort, where is the long coding option? The only module that offers long coding is the Engine.

Not all cars have long coding. If there's no long coding the settings are most likely at the adaptation menu. Please have a look at the adaptation and check if the settings are there.

Hi, there is no long coding in Adaptaion, when I used VCDS on Module 46 I used long coding helper to activate the Alarm bleep when locking the car, I have found OBD11 lacking some of those those features. I realise it's priced less than VCDS, but from what I have done so far it will never replace it, Don't get me wrong, OBD11 is good value but I would like to see more in the software.

You didn't understand what i wanted to say... The features of long coding are in adaptation. There's no long coding menu under adaptation it's just in the adaptation. Check the adaptation and i'm pretty sure you'll find the option you're looking for.
There's are some points in which vcds is better but ODBeleven has 99% of the features aswell plus it costs a lot less. This is just my opinion.

Hi, I run OBD11 again on my car, control unit 46, central comfort module, Adaptation but no long coding or long coding helper in OBD11, I did activate bleep on locking car, but used VCDS. What I cannot understand is the only module that offers long coding in OBD11 is the engine??
I purchased OBD11 scan to use on newer cars, as my VCDS lead will not work on cars after 2015 due to module changes in the cars, or that's what Rosstech say.

There's no long coding helper in OBDeleven. There's just normal long coding(on some cu not all) with bits and bytes. The other thing is adaptation. As i have already told you Just open the adaptation menu and search for the things you want to change => profit. You need to understand that OBDeleven is not VCDS. That is not meant to be mean but i feel like you're not understanding what i'm trying to say :/

Hi, I do understand what you are saying, and yes, it's not VCDS, but I will use it on later cars only, I will VCDS on the others as I prefer the interface and long coding and helper.
Now if VCDS had all this, then it would be the best value scanner on the market.
