Hi!

I got a Octavia 2005.
Just got my OBDEleven Pro so I am new to this kind of things.

I would like to:

Get my blinker in the headlight to be used as a DRL.

Turn of the extra wipe after I sprayed the windshield/wiped the windshield.

Turn of the *ding ding ding ding* every time I start my car.

Change the turn signal from three signala to five signals when I use the "comfort signal".

I'd like to help you with the codings.

US turn Signals (usage of turn Signal Lights as DRL light):
- ECU 09 (Central electrics)
- Long Coding
- Byte 7
- enter the brightness value in percent

Extra wiping:
- ECU 09 (central electrics)
- Long coding
- Byte 01
- Set Bit 2 = 0 (= no extra wiping)

Turn off safety belt warning (that's the ding ding ding when turning on the car I guess)
- ECU 17 (Dashboard)
- Long coding
- Byte 1
- Set Bit 1 = 0 (= no safety belt warning)

Changing turn Signal Count:
- ECU 09 (central electrics)
- Adaption (don't know how they tag it in english Version)
- Channel 31
- Set value to 5 (Default is 3)

Hope that all works. I didn't check if turn Signal coding is Right, I just used a template from a coding list I use. All the other stuff worked for me either.

Hi, i tried coding comfort blinking from 3 to 5 on my Octavia RS 2010 but didnt work. I did as per your instructions.
I found some people say in newer models there is need to restore light settings to Factory in infotainment but i have RNS510.
