If i disable start stop (100points), i can activated from button after that? or is disabled for good?

Has anyone experienced slight inconsistencies in idle, usually after coming to a complete stop? My understanding is that this option fakes your car out to think the A/C is on... My OCD was taking over after the engine idle sputtered at almost every red light and ended up reverting the change.

Same here, Im not too happy with how they managed to "disable" the start-stop system..
I waisted the money for activation, and few days ago 100points to deactivate the application when I wanted to reverse the coding - but it seems that the Start Stop system is not working at all / like its permanently disabled.. I will try manually trough A/C Adaptation setting.. hopefully it will help to get things back they originally were.

I disable start/stop. But it only disable the @ sign beside the “D” or ”P”. When I stepped brake pedal hard. It still shut down engine. It seems it doesn’t work.
I have 2017 A4 premium.

this feature didn't work for my S4 and my brothers SQ5. why does it work for some and not others?

The feature requires that the AC is *ON*. I does not trick the vehicle into thinking its on. If you turn the AC off, Start/Stop will work again.
I've used the AC Adaptation method to change the value from 5 to 0 since 2018 and it has always worked as designed for me on my 2018 S4.

If yes, could you please advice how this was done? I’m having the same issue and not able to re-activate s/s. UPDATE: Problem solved for me. It was kids who had set the A/C rear temp to ”LO”, preventing S/S to stop engine. After setting the value to normal range (around 22˚C), S/S started working as soon as temperature close enough was reached at the cabin. -opa |
