Hi I was driving today and suddenly my power steering light came up. The steering didn't get heavier, so I wondered what would be it. I got home and as I parked, the light went off. I figured I still could see the error I fired up OBDeleven and successfully connected to the car. However, when I click to see the control units, it comes up empty. I can't scan the car for errors (it just gets stuck in "scanning"), I can't use apps (says it's not applicable or something). All I can see is my current connected car and current voltage. I could connect to the units before. i.imgur.com/eg4ys0M.jpgAre the servers down or something? Or is it an error on my car? What can I do? I've already tried clearing the app cache, and even fully uninstalling and reinstalling it.

Hello?
Vehicle's a 2018 VW Up.
I remember it used to show way more control units it had, previously (such as EV related modules, or AWD modules etc), though they were all inaccessible (as in "control unit didn't respond")
I knew which units worked because they'd have a green circle next to their number, relative to their status. No big deal. I suppose my car doesn't really report which control units it has, so OBDeleven showed every unit available for it.
I suspect that some update went online, and it now "requires" the car to report which modules it has. As my car doesn't really report any, it shows none. That's my take on that issue.
I've tried so far: Uninstalling and reinstalling the app Trying on another vehicle (Mk6 Polo - works) Removing the negative cable from my car's battery for 8 hours to "reset" any stuck modules or something
I'm out of ideas. Please advise
Thanks
