I'm trying to recalibrate using the rosstech guide, but when I enter the basic controls and start at 061, the calibration begins without me starting it, and the new values do not save. Is there a way to long code the new values? Why is the calibration not saving? Why is it starting before hit the checkmark to begin?

On some cars it's normal to start when you enter the channel and you have to wait until it's showing ON and the numbers stop moving.

Meaning that I select to start calibration after the numbers have stopped moving? It will save then?

Yes when the numbers stop and shows "ON" it's done.

Right, but the issue I'm having is that when the numbers stop moving and it says 'On', the numbers aren't saved or the same if I return to that channel.

It's normal no need to be worried. Everytime you enter will show does numbers. It's the same on my passat and on every car i did.

when I enter the basic controls and start at 061, the calibration begins without me starting it This is supposed to happen. It is important that you have the DSG at operating temperature, then placed in PARK, with your foot on the brake (throughout the procedure). Since you are using OBDeleven, I suggest leaving it at the adaptation screen for 1-minute to ensure it is done. From what I recall one of the values is "13" once it is done on a DSG with a good (non-worn) clutch kit.
