Hi there,
I have to Change the rear brake Discs and the Pads and I have to set the breaks to Service Position. Is it possible to do this with the OBD Eleven I´m using and how?

Open Rear Parking Brake Prerequisites: Connect a battery charger as per repair manual Cycle the Parking Brake ON, then OFF first. (You may need to press on the brake pedal to allow it to turn OFF). Go to 53 - Parking Brake Basic Settings Channel 7 Activate The brake pads are now opening. Important: Wait 30 seconds after the brakes stop moving before carrying out the next step. Due to a firmware problem in some modules, failure to wait can result in damage to the control module. Turn ignition off. The caliper pistons do not move back into the caliper, this is normal.
Close Rear Parking Brake Prerequisites: Connect a battery charger as per repair manual. The Parking Brake must be OFF before Basic Setting are possible. Go to 53 - Parking Brake Basic Settings Channel 6 Activate the Basic Setting. The brake pads are now closing. Important: Wait 30 seconds after the brakes stop moving before carrying out the next step. Due to a firmware problem in some modules, failure to wait can result in damage to the control module.
Function Test Prerequisites: Connect a battery charger as per repair manual. The Parking Brake must be OFF before Basic Setting are possible. Go to 53 - Parking Brake Basic Settings Channel 10 Activate the Basic Setting. The brake pads are now opening and closing 3 times. Important: Wait 30 seconds after the brakes stop moving before carrying out the next step. Due to a firmware problem in some modules, failure to wait can result in damage to the control module.

Hello, First of all, thank you for the device and the forum! It's great to have someone finally breaking RT dominion on VAG diag/coding I own a 2012 Alhambra packed with all options but the Lane assist and Auto Levelling of the suspensions. I've acquired an OBDEleven Pro to do the rear disks and pads replacement. Unfortunately the channels 6,7, and 10 do not work on my car: (31) function not available! Being in a hurry to get the work done, I had already bought the spares, and frustrated to not be able to open the callipers I finally tried the app: - first one did not work; but there are two, which made me think there is a difference depending on models/options... To be possibly explained by admin? - the second one worked and I was able to open the callipers! Then it took me some time to find how to buy credits, it is really not obvious! A link on the credit icon and counter would help After buying credits I able to close the callipers the next day. Replacement done: Yes! Now my question is which channels are the correct one for my car? Thanks, Kink

Hi I was wondering if any 1 could point me in the right direction. I am changing my rear discs and pads on Friday using my obd and I was wondering if I need to pump the brake pedal hard before I select end lining change mode.
Thanks barry.
