Anyone knows how to unlock VIM with ODBEleven on the new A1 Sportback 2019?
Does the old procedure still works?

Got the carlyappapp-Adapter over the weekend from my friend. VIM works perfect wit carlyappapp on my A1 GB!!  But I had to buy the VAG package for €29...But worth it...works like a charm...and some other stuff... |

No, for me it only works with files on a SD card. Sadly on my used A1 there is no Smartphone Interface so I don‘t have Apple Car Play. I read that some guys did it work to mirror the screen of the phone to the display. But not sure if on a new A1. But to be honest, the screen is huge. So everyone will see that you play something on the screen...😉 I‘m not using it at the moment...🙈 |

I mean, other than the adapter did you need the yearly subscription too? Because I see Vim unlock for GB is usable on the free version of the app, not sure if that's true. Also what do you mean with "VAG package for 29€"? I can't find any package on their site. They just say to attach the ODB adapted and connect the phone. There shouldn't be any VAG involved. Thanks |
