If I am not mistaking but Passat B8 only has 1 LED indicator (only outer) on each side compared to the Golf which has 2 LED indicators (inner and outer) on each side a total of 4 indicators at the tail compared to your Passat which has a total of 2.
You wont be able to get the same effect because of the less amount of LED indicators on the tail.
