Hi,

I was hoping this will be a quick question. I have an Ateca 1.5 DSG and a friend has got a lease VW Tiguan and we were comparing VCDS settings and seeing whats different and what he could enable (stuff like TSR etc).

One thing we noticed is my Ateca has EA_Variant_1 and he has EA_Variant_2, Does anyone know what the differences are?

If you have Emergency assist you'd have version 2 but I guess you dont have it from factory and the only way to get it is by flashing the A5 module (if I remember correctly) with VCP.

I did this on my Tiguan and now I have Emergency assist and Traffic jam assist.
