I just bought a new to me 2011 touareg executive TDI. It did not come with a hitch or 7 pin but it does have the trailer prep. From my understanding it is wired for trailer brake under the dash and has the plugs in the back for the tow module.
Now to the question at hand. When I install the hitch and the module, I have read that the module needs to be "flashed" in order to work properly. I've looked through the long coding in the obdeleven and seen the section for the tow module. Does anyone know what I have to do there or do I just activate it?
