Hi all,
Having a bit of trouble accessing the navigation control unit (37) I'm trying to add AUX to RNSE but am unable to access the control unit. I've read somewhere about the Kline wire? Anyone know what colour it is? I know it's meant to be in B5 but I have nothing in there so need to locate it and move it to the correct place. The RNSE was fitted from factory but the previous owner had added iPod connection if that makes any difference as to where the Kline might be?
Thanks in advance

Goodmoring, Thats true. This is because the B7 doesn’t have a K-line wire from the OBD-port to the radio. It is a red-wire. You have to make this by your self. You can find the pin-out from the quad-lock on google. Connect a wire from the right position on the Quad-lock to the OBD-port. You can cut the wire on the OBD-port and add the new wire to the one you cut. After that, soldering is recommended! Good luck. I did this by myself. Easy to do:-)

Old post, but FWIW, I was able to enable aux input in my B7 the other day. One thing to note - it takes quite a while for the coding value to appear. I was not being patient enough the first few times I tried.

I Just done it on my Exeo. Came with symphonie II+ and retrofited to rns-e from a donor Exeo. Worked fine but unable to read modules 37& 56 wich are Nav and Radio. i've watched a youtube video and all I deed was changed the kline wire from the green loome (pos7) and inserted on the blue loome (pos5). reset radio ( pressing radio +setup buttons ) until radio restarts. all because the kline on rns-e is on a different position then the symphonie. Hope it helps
