I am changing springs and ride height on my 2019 GTI and need help. Has anyone used OBDeleven to reset the automatic leveling headlight after lowering the car? There isn’t an app for headlight adjustment for that car and I am trying to figure out how to do it. Can anyone out there help me? Thanks.

^^^ You will need to run 2 x separate procedures in the hex55 module like this: Make sure the car is on level ground and that the suspension is settled
Procedure 1
- Select Xenon range control module @ address hex55
- Select Basic Settings
- Select Basic headlamp setting and start the procedure
- This is where you would adjust the headlights using their manual adjusting screws as referenced against a suitable aiming target
- Wait a period of time (suggest 3 seconds)- then stop the procedure
Procedure 2 (still in Basic settings in hex55 module)
- Select Acknowledge basic setting and start the procedure
- The reference settings from Procedure 1 above should now be "recorded" in the module
- Wait a period of time (suggest 3 seconds)- then stop the procedure
- Back-out of the module, clear any error codes and exit OBD11 software (don't forget to disconnect the OBD11 dongle)

-Basic setting: Basic headlight setting -> click green Acknowledge of basic setting -> click green
(the Order VERY IMPORTANT and DO NOT click anything else or you risk erasing the module)

Dear OP. Did this end up working for you? I have the exact same issue, except I’ve already lowered and now my headlights adjust to aim into the trees, so I essentially can’t use them until this gets resolved!!

dv52 (Australia) I tried to preform this procedure today and was a bit confused. The online tutorials say to click on the "green check mark" however there is a changed in the updated version that replaced the "check mark" with "slide to write". Do I "slide to write", wait 3 seconds and then go "back"? OR do I need to wait for it to finish writing?
