Hi everyone, need some help with my rear door warning lights. I have replaced reflectors in all doors with LED warning lights on my 2014 Passat B7 Variant. I have checked all hardware related things (correct pins, etc.).
Light on the front doors work fine, activated in control units 42 and 52, let there be light and light there was. The rear doors however won't function. On youtube I see people with VCDS code the rear doors seperately, but I do not see such an option in OBDeleven. I do however get a "Local data bus" error, fault code U10BA00, on both sides.
In control unit 19 (Gateway), I get a "Left rear door control module" error, fault code 01333 (left) and 01334 (right). All other electronics (lock and window) are working fine.
Any ideas how to get this worked out?

Rear door are subsystems in front left door and front right door. So to find it you have to go to 42 or 52 -> subsystem-> rear door.

Yes, that did the trick!
I initially had read on this forum about subsystems, byte 2, bit 6. For some reason I ended up in the subsystems of the central electronics unit instead of the door control units. That obviously didn't work out...

Hi, I have the same problem with the rear door warning lights. Could anyone help me out activating those light, I did manage to activate the front doors but the rear I have no acces to the modules

Ich komme bei mir in die steuergeräte 62 und 72 der hinteren Türen nicht rein verbindung wird nicht aufgebaut.
Vorne die Türen gingen ohne probleme freischalten.
Ich hofe mir kann geholfen werden.

I have a 14 SEL. Came with warning lights in the front door from the factory and just reflectors in the rear doors. I have the parts to install the lights and wire them up but wanted to verify I could activate them before I started. I go through the driver or passenger front door modules and select subsystems to get to the rear door modules but I get an “unavailable” message. Anyone know how to get this to work?

For the rear door two work pin 6+wire and pin 18- wire and go central control unit 42 and 52 go two subsystems long codeing byte 2 and click on box 6 for the rear doors two work. for the front door it's pin18+ and 19- 42 and 52 click on door exit light installed .
