Hi to all...
I have Audi A4 B8 2012 yesterday after maps update i see message on screen "MAPS NOT ACTIVATED " i download the activation file and instal them same as maps from sd card , i press UPDATE -->STANDARD-->START UPDATE then i get another message on screen "UPDATE WILL CONTINUE AFTER MMI RESET " then problem starts MMI reset and never turn on again. PLEASE HELP

You flashed maps different version and you bricked your unit. You have to find someone to reflash the stock firmware to your unit.

I have a 2012 S4 B8 with a 3G High MMI system and I bricked mine. What I found is if you screen is green on startup and the turns red with a COUNTDOWN and looking for mu 9307... that is the harddrive inside your multimedia CD sd card part of your center dash. The controls will go dead and no let's. I tested everything and found what the real problem was. Anyways take your car to the dealer and ask to talk to the head tech or tech supervisor and ask the to put the mu 9307 software on a sd card and tell them all they have to do is put the card in and then not start but turn power on and just your system starting the harddrive will see the software and it will load. Once it's done it must be restarted. Then the next part. It will lock again if you do not have the security code. After that's installed and system restarted then your done. It will go back to working order. Do not mess with the map software. NOT WORTH IT!!!If the hard drive does not take the program that means your hard drive went bad and audi wants $2000.00 for the unit and then they have to flash it to your vinyl. Very expensive! |

Hello I have an Audi A4 2L Quattro Sline 2012 model B8.5. i recently entered the green menu and accidently ticked the the distance control box as well as the maps region i changed. Now my MMI units starts up but just stays on the starting logo. we have tried to reset the faults but they just come back and the MMi stays the same. The fault codes i get are 03157,03675,01300,01319. We tried to do a hard reset but says it cannot be done. Has anybody experienced this? and how do I fix this problem?
