I'm also interested to know if a needle sweep app will be available for a 2013 Passat (NMS), or whether there is something about the gauge cluster from that year that won't allow it to work. I've googled around, but haven't found anything definitive for B7 Passats--is there a way to long code the sweep through this software?

This worked for my 2015 Limited. 1) Click the 'hamburger' menu on the main screen where the scan button is: 2) Click the 'Dash Board' control unit: 3) Choose 'Adaption': 4) Scroll down, it's near the bottom, choose 'indicator_celebration': 5) Click where it says 'not active' and choose 'active', then 'OK': 6) Click the green check box, done!!:

Thanks in advance doesnt work on my 11 passat either, ive read around that it's to do with the model number on the cluster has to have 'H' at the end wether true or not is another thing but as it stands mine has an 'E' and adaptations or the app don't work. Hope that helps

Did this menu function you are showing actually work on US Spec NMS Passat? I'm trying to see if this needle sweep option is actually available in OBD 11 for a 2018 Passat SE w/ Technology Pkg. Hoping someone can tell me before I consider purchasing. Thank you!
