Tried various codes found on multiple Google searches, none do anything. Mirrors all work correctly with key fob, switch, etc., but don't understand how to get puddle lights to work.
(using the Long Coding Helper) both left and right side controllers (42 and 52) are coded the same way. The relevant changes are: Byte 1, Bit 0 — ACTIVE (“Door Entry Lights Installed”) Byte 4, Bit 4 — ACTIVE (“Folding Mirrors Installed”) Byte 4, Bit 6 — ACTIVE (“Comfort Folding Mirror Active”) The first one is puddle light.
Screenshots needed for drivers door, passengers door.
Also tried "app" for 10 credits, 2 times, no go.
Light sensors, dark, am I missing something?

guruuno: Hi - Yes, the descriptor on the door- module code-string for the puddle lights is a tad inscrutable, but set Byte 1, Bit 2 - ACTIVE ("door_exit_light") on both modules

I've been reading the dialogue regarding the puddle lights with interest. I suspect that there is a problem with the definition of terms- it depends on what you mean by "puddle lights": - If you are referring to the down facing lights on the external mirrors - then
these type of "puddle lights" are what the door modules call "front_field_light"
- If you are referring to the puddle lights on the bottom of the door skins- then these "puddle lights" are what the door modules call the "door_exit_light"

Don Perfect. I see this confusion a lot in terms. I get a little confused because of that. Excuse. But what I would like to know is how to activate the downside lights on the external mirrors (front_field_light)? Taking advantage, do you know which + and - pins of the 16-pin connector to activate this light below the exterior mirrors (front_field_light)?

But - it really depends on which particular version J386 (and J387 - passenger side door module) you have installed in the car.
This is how the 16 x pin connector assignments vary:

Pin 11 is not. It corresponds to L131 - Driver side turn signal repeater bulb. Pin 1 is the front_field_light correspondent. The ground is pin 3. DV52, please, can you send me via email (eliranfla@yahoo.com.br) this table of pins for 16 and 32 pin connectors? The image here is not readable. I would be very grateful.

^^^ eli - my wiring diagram is correct - I erred in inserting L131, when I should have said W52.
Not point sending you email - the pin-out is all I can provide

Okay, Don. Thanks.
But regarding the lights Inside_Door_Handle_Light = Lights on the door handles - positive pin 3 and negative pin 5 of the 32-pin connector (It didn't work) and the Ambiente_Light = LED strips on the panels and door sill - positive on pin 8 and negative on pin 5 of the 32-pin connector (Didn't work) if you have any extra settings for them to work?

^^^eli: So- I'm not sure what's happening with this matter: there are multiple threads in both the mk7 and the mk7.5 forums on this topic. I've also read recent posts in other forums from someone who sounds like you claiming all sorts of personal success.
Of course it's your prerogative to replicate requests across multiple forums (it often is useful), But, over-posting within a forum is something that should be avoided because rather than helping, it makes it difficult for anyone trying to be of assistance to follow the progress.
Alas because I have a sub 100 IQ - it's all very confusing for this particular canard-noir!!!
