Anyone knows how to enable oil temperature in mfa menu for a 2012 r20 with odb11? I had this option available but after dealer service it's no longer choosable. Cant find it under odb11 section 17 for my golf. Hope someone has the solution.

Maybe is unchecked in the mfa display list if not you can't do it with obd11 or vcds, you have to read the eeprom cluster for doing that and change a hex value, only if you have vcp or odis. You have to go back to your dealer and solve with them. |

Thanks.. went to the dealer today and i have to come back tomorrow to see if they can fix it. Hopefully they will and i let you know as others might find this option useful for their golf.

Went back to the dealer... they say they havent done anything with the software and they need the car for a whole day to figure things out. As they cant tell me if it will cost me i phoned around a bit.
The mfa option doesnt disappear from itself... the dealer must have done a software update is what im told. I have no more confidence in my local dealer as im almost positive theyll charge me for not finding a solution... so instead ill go visit a person or company who actually knows about vag cars and the usability of odis.
Thanks again for letting me know odb11 has no possibility to do so, because otherwise i was made to belief i removed it from mfa myself 😁
