Hoping someone can help,
so ive used the 1 click app to activate Scandinavian drl’s on my 2015 gti, all works fine. my question is this app basically puts the side lights on all the time when the car is running, number plate lights front side lights the light switch illuminating for side lights the lot which is ok but not what I would like. is it possible to do long coding to just activate the rear tail lights with drl's ? Not everything else .
heres hoping this is possible

I have only been messing around with standard 2016 VW Polo 1.2m and its possible to do it on that car. Before I tell you the steps, ould you do a backup of the module "Central Electric", send it to yourself and then upload it here aswell. Here is a video on how to do a backup of any control module
Just wanna make sure the GTI isnt limited or different to the way I have it setup. Also is it correct of me to assume you got the pro version ?

Has anyone been able to do this mod on the polo yet ? I’ve seen a post on the Skoda side where you can change adaptations for each rear lamp so it works with DRL’s but this doesn’t work on my 2015 polo gti I’ve turned off the Scandinavian DRL’s as its proper annoying to have all the dash and switches lit up all the time. I need to find out which channel controls each rear side/ position lamp on the rear then set this to ‘ tagfarlicht in central electrics 09 I think. Any reply’s welcome

I have coded it on a 2016 1.2 Tsi Polo, so I cant say if your 2015 Polo GTI has the same leuchte. But on the 2016 1.2 TSI Polo Central Electrics (09) Adaption Leuchte23SL HLC7 - Left Taillight Leuchte24SL HRA69 - Right Taillight

Ok thanks for that, once you have selected left or right taillights which channel did you switch over to tagfarlicht ?
If you look at the picture of the Skoda coding it gives you a letter number combo so you know which one to change.

The reason I put 60 instead off 100 is because it is set to 60 from factory and I didnt wanna risk going higher and melting the bulb/housing. If that specific spot is taken by another function, then just take any other spot that is free. Edit: Always take a backup on the original settings of every module you plan to modify and send it to yourself.

Thanks vic, This information was the missing piece in the puzzle, once I had coded ‘dimming ‘ the rear lights worked as I wanted. Now I have front drl’s and rear position lamps(side lights) on only no other lights illuminated,I have also coded drl’s off with parking brake on and added the function to turn the drl’s off completely in the infotainment screen.
Many thanks again vic

I tried this on my 1.2 tsi polo 2014. The thing is when i go on adaptations for Central electronics (09) it doesn't show anything. It says "Select channel 0-255". Not really sure on what to do, anyone has any idea what im doing or has done the same thing?
Thanks
