Hi,
i've cnahnged the gateway module on my car ( from Mid to High) .
A indipendent technician has removed component protection but now I've not the fatigue detection. When I try to enable it in the CAR / driving assistance menu I receive the message " function not available "

fatigue detection, simple cruise control and driving profiles are swap-controlled and can only be activated at a vw dealer. Maybe this is possible even when the gateway isn't matching the factory's list.
There are some people which are able to do this without VW, but I cannot recommend anyone, as the procedures are very obscure

I prefer to activate fatigue detection in VW service but I 'm worried because they could see a different gateway product code from factory fitted

I can enable it if you have VAS with ODIS.

You have to transfer SWaP from old gateway to the new gateway. These are registered by VW servers. So you need someone with Odis and a on-line account to this server before you can transfer these SWaP's.
