I am trying to code the OEM Trailer module, but the adaptations are not there. The dealer just quoted me $275 to program the car. Can OBDEleven work?

Did you ever get this coding done? I have an Q5 8R with ACC, and have just retrofitted the OEM towbar and controller and everything works - except for the bits that dont.  ACC is now complaining that it is not coded correctly, and the feedback I've got from Kufatec say that I need to change the coding as they've stipulated: The picture you have shown seems to be longcoding. But my informations are short coding: Address 13: Position 1 (----x) 1 – Towbar control installed 8 – Towbar not installed. The long coding that OBDEleven gives us is in Hex format, and the above appears to be short coding instead. I'm not sure how to change this in OBDEleven, and I don't have access to VCDS so am currently stuck with a functional towbar and non-functional cruise control/ACC system My coding of the module is below. If I try change any values, it says "something went wrong, please try again". None of the security codes I've tried seem to work either. (The system was working beforehand, and I do get information from the module, so there is a valid connection)  |
