Hello,
I'm pretty new to this all. I've accomplished to activate us lights, and after that change the light brightness.
But now I want to change my h7 led lights brightness. Because one is a bit brighter than the other one.
And can I activate leaving home / coming home without light sensor?

^^^H7 question: What is your current value for the adaptation channel Leuchte6ABL LC5-Lasttyp 6 in the Central electrics module?
Leaving/coming home question: you can activate CH, but not LH if there is no light sensor. To activate CH - change the adaptation channels in the highlighted section of the screen below on the Central electrics module: If you have a newer model mk7 (i.e. after MY16), search for Außenlicht_uebergreifend (instead of "comfort illumination" in my picture) To activate CH after making the changes, make sure that CH is enabled in the MENU screen (CAR>setup>lights>coming home=10 seconds) -then operate the high-beam flash stalk before opening the driver door to exit the car. The CH lights will stay illuminated for 10 seconds after the last door is closed (including the rear-hatch) Don

Hello, But now I want to change my h7 led lights brightness. Because one is a bit brighter than the other one. Hi were the h7 leds factory fitted or did you fit them yourself ?
Could you tell me the make of h7 led bulb ? I presume the h7 leds are for your low beams ?

hmm........ the illumination level for the low-beam lamps is set by the value in Leuchte6ABL LC5-Dimmwert AB 6 (left-side) and Leuchte7ABL RB1-Dimmwert AB 7 (right-side) channels . You could also try changing Leuchte6ABL LC5-Lasttyp 6 and Leuchte7ABL RB1-Lasttyp 7 to 5 LED Abblendlicht. Don

Dv52, Do you know of teardrop wiping is an option for a mk7 and how I'm activating this? Couldn't find it... If you search the hex09 module for the term Windshield wiper, you should find a channel called Traenenwischen Front Status (Traenenwischen=Tears-wipe) which is factory set to not active - but changing this channel to active won't work. So I don't know - sorry
Don
PS: You could also check that Byte 0, Bit 3 (adaptive Post/Tear wiping active) is set in the WWWS module (which is a subsystem in the hex09 module)

My car is Golf 7 (2014) with halogen headlights.
Is it possible to increase the light intensity using OBD11?

Mikey: Hi. Not sure which lamp in your halogen headlights you want to make brighter - but in general, the illumination level for lighting functions like low-beam and high-beam are factory set to maximum brightness

^Thanks for the reply!
Still clutching at straws... I have come across a thread in which it was mentioned that one could deselect 'power saving mode' in central electrics. Any idea what that is all about?
