How can I program my new, larger tire diameter to make my speedometer accurate? What do I need to do? Factory tires are 205/55R16 and new tires are 225/50R17. See below for measurements.

You only have a few choices so just try each setting for K-number or Distance Impulse Number (Multiplier) and hopefully one will work for you. See attached screenshots from OBDeleven app. Or if you can't see them, use Google photo link: photos.app.goo.gl/z7m3dK4jb4FNNwa79

This wont work for me as I dont have the K adjustment in that coding in the TIGUAN R Line AUS version
When I go into Dashboard Long Coding the closest thing is Wheel Circ.
This gives a choice from 1 to 8 Mine is set on 1
Presumably going up into the higher numbers will like above give a lower speedo reading.
Any knowledgeable person that can confirm that before I change it as speedo is 4k fast at 100kph

Hi, I know this is long ago but Wheel circ was the setting in my Golf Mk7. It seems to be the same as the K settings just a different name. In my Golf Mk7 I set wheel circ to 6. In my Tiguan 2015 I set K to 6. In both cases it is very close to perfect.

I'm totally new to this and just don't know the answer. So, tires vs. Ratio if I put a smaller Tire on there I would go down for example mind is set on 3 do like a 2 or 1 is that correct if I want to get my ratio pretty accurate
