Sorry in advance if this is already known, but I had always wondered if you could use the door handle to comfort open the windows the same way you can comfort close them. And it turns out you can! But the instructions for the facelift are different than for older Mk7. Thought I would share:
09 Central Electronics -> Adaptations
Go into ‘ZV komfort’ Set 'Comfort opening' to 'active'
Go into 'Schlüssellose Zugang- und Startberechtigung' (may be called "Keyless Access and start authorization")
Set 'Kessy Komfort oeffnen' to 'active'
Lastly, go into your Car settings, Opening and Closing, and set Conv. opening to Driver’s window or All windows.
To use it, you hold both the inside and the outside of the door handle at the same time (lock and unlock touch sensors).

And you can also do close, and you touch and hold the inner sensor for open and outer sensor for close not both

Oh I agree, for closing, all you have to do is touch the lock area. You’d think for opening, you’d just touch the inner unlock part. But the requirement is actually to hold both sides.

Hi, I find my ‘Kessy Komfort oeffnen’ is under “keyless Access and start authorization”. Since last obd11 app update, some route name change a little bit. And this function works fine. Thanks.

I tried coding this through the app, and although it said successful I'm still unable to roll down windows with fob or door handles. I subsequently went in and manually changed the adaptations, but I'm still unable to roll down or up. Is there something I may be missing that could be competing with this? I can post a pic tomorrow of both modules - zv komfort and the keyless access for kessy. Not sure what I'm missing. car = 2018 gti autobahn dsg. Using the new gen unit.

Hm yeah that’s weird. Did holding the lock button on the door handle to close the windows ever work?

Not since I've owned it, which is only a month now.

Hm yeah that’s weird, it should have come from factory with that enabled. Just making sure, in the Car settings - Opening and closing, is conv. opening set to All windows?
Try posting up a pic of your ZV Komfort and the Kessy one.

To be more precise, comfort closing simply touching the lock sensor and hold. Comfort opening is more tricky. First, make sure the car is locked. First touch the inner (unlock) sensor (open lock), then touch the lock sensor while holding the unlock sensor for few seconds and the windows will roll down.

On mine I tried setting 'ZV komfort' - comfort opening to 'active'. That took, but 'Schlüssellose Zugang- und Startberechtigung' didn't exist. I had to change comfort opening back to inactive to be able to make changes to 'keyless Access and start authorization.' I set everything up like the pic jacksontouran posted and it works great. It also tilts the roof and opens the shade about 6".

Anyone familiar if the new kessy button on the 22 GLI can be used to open windows? I coded it with OBDeleven like my touch one but I can't get it to open.
There's no inside sensor so there is no holding both. I tried pushing twice and 3x and holding but nothing.
Would the Golf R people be familiar with this button?
