I have a USDM 2008 MKV GTI with the BPY FSI engine.
I'm looking to log timing angle retardation per cyl #. But no such channel exists for me. In fact, I have many many unlabled channels to begin with. I'm trying to log my tune's new update and see if timing is being pulled so I can adjust things.
I've seen screenshots elsewhere that shows these channels, but for a MKVII.
Does anyone know which channels these are that I seek? Would be nice to not have to spend another couple hundred on a ross cable just to log timing.

Is the timing retardation for the intake camshaft only (in terms of the BPY engine) since the exhaust cam is fixed?

Hello, I think so, i don't want to tell you lies i really don't have any knowledge on gasoline engines, but if you want I can provide you all live data available for this engine if you post your ecu software number. |
