Hi!
I have obd eleven pro so is it possible replace the car battery with obd eleven for this model ?
Can someone tell me how? I tried to use the q5 guide but it seems the channel is different.
There is the module 61 like other audis but how do I do this from that ?

Just bought a ODBDEleven Pro to do this on a 2004 A8 3.0 TDI.
Following the video, when I press 30 the coding screen a box does not appear to enter a value. Why would this be?
Also, trying the other way and going to Control Unit Gateway (19) > adaption > 004 i get a "Value not found" error.
Any ideas on how to code a new battery?

An update to this:
I realised that on the subsystems > Long coding screen (like in the vid above) you have to long press the 30 to get the hex screen up. Then you can switch to ASCII and change your serial etc. Once doing this I was successfully able to code my battery.

I tried coding my d3 4.0 tdi like the video says. I am usin ios for gen2. I scan my car, then go to battery, subsystem. It displays a varta no there, open it and last saved value 0000049. When i try to overwright it failes. I donts get a channel list in subsystem

I have tried every tutorial and video for this but for my 2007 q7 I can’t do anything in the gateway section under adaptation and I have the same issue you do wheN I try to do long coding under battery and subsystem. It shows the serial number but I’m unable to edit it to just change a digit. |

Hello. i just used my old vcds cable. I contacted the support but they answered 2-3 days later but yes the obd11 didnt worked

Hi, can anyone help.
I have 2008 A8 D3 3.0TDi
Under 61 Battery Regulation > Subsystems
I don't have 'Coding'
Only 'Long Coding'
And within that, don't have a '30' to long press
Only 00 92 55 01 50
Tried long adaptation setting under 19 Gateway as other videos suggest, but the 2 'Battery' options are unavailable when selecting either one from the drop down menu
Any advice would be appreciated.
