I just acquired an OBDeleven Pro second hand, when I tried to install the app, I got a message saying "this product not available in your country". Am I doing something wrong? There are people on the facebook page I'm on that are using it here in australia, I am baffled. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

This is a VW Licence issue they don't allow OBD11 to be available in all countries.
There is a 6 digit security code for the dongle when you first connect did you get that from the guy you bought it from.

I haven't even taken the dongle out of the box, I am trying to install the app on my samsung first.

Ok, so now I have managed to get it to work on my phone, the problem I have now is that it's asking me for a 6 digit code to link to my car. I have contacted the guy I bought it from (second hand) and he is adamant that hye never had to enter a code as he had a pro account. How would I go about retrieving the 6 digit code?

The guy MUST have set the 6 digit pin. It won't work without it. If he can't remember at all use the reset pin option. This should send an email to the guy you bought it from. |

I bought mine second hand and just logged in with his details and then changed the email address and password one at a time and unit has worked perfectly ever since
Also to remove the cars in his "Garage" just swipe them left and they will be gone
