I spent hours the other day and can't find where I changed the colours on my dash and my infotainment screen. I think it's a 3 stage adaption. First you need to allow the particular systems to be multi colour. Then change the 3 colour types, red, green and blue each having a colour range between 0 & 255. But I just can't seem to get it again. I did manage to turn it green and I liked it.

update: After much research, try and error the MIB now shows the color selection in the settings of the ambient lighting. The problem now is that I cannot change the color... its default value is "White" and whenever I click to change it, I get an error saying "function unavailable..." any ideas?
To enable the color selection to appear in the MIB: 5F - info control unit Adaptations Go to Car_function_adaptations_gen2-menu_display Ambient_illumination

Does it require the ambient plus pack 'installed' for the adaptation to expand on white/yellow/blue?

Not 100% but I think you have to go into central electrics and go to adaptions then find Interior light, light configuration: then enable the second from the bottom, but you also have to fill out the colour list in Ambientelicht Farbliste: (I think)

(enable the second from the bottom) i have already filled out the colour scheme, and the color can be changed via obd11, but i am still missing the color option in the menu.

Have you got background lighting menu under the settings menu? And not under lights? The one where it shows a picture of the inside of the car? If so I think it's enable Ambient Farbliste HMI

I did with vcp, it's quite simple, it works with leon 2017 1. Select STG 09 2. STG access authorization -> code: 31347 3. STG adjustment 4. Search „Ambient light color list” a. On right window we have colors list in rgb format, last two colors are empty (it means you can add 2 additional colors) i. Rotwert Farbe 9 -> red ii. Gruenwert Farbe 9 -> green iii. Blauwert Farbe 9 -> blue Helpful will be online color manager ie. www.colorspire.com/5. Next search for „LIN Ambient light color list” a. You have to do the same like before is very important to set the same values for rgb in both place.

Maybe "Ambience_lightning_color_list_lin;"? Further down the adaptation list? And NOT in the interior lighting menu

Colour change in AID I couldn't find Ambience_lighting_colour_list_LIN. After changing all the settings, I found I had to reset the light settings in the MIB unit. ie. On MIB right hand side bottom, Menu > Car > Reset settings > Lights > reset. or something like that. Then it worked straight away.

You have to do this in 2 places, like instruction says. I did it on 1st place, but can not find second place with adaption channel "LIN". Maybe it is in another module?
