Hi, I replaced my existing "interior mirror with automatic dimming function (3G0857511AD)" to an "Interior mirror with automatic dimming function and camera (3G0857511AR). Additional I had to installiert a cable set (only two Single lines) from mirror to the control unit of head light regulation. Coding by OBDeleven and it works.
Question: SG20 and SG09 is set by me in long coding text mode. But is it necessary to adjust further values of the light sensor or similar (e.g. min sensitiv value, or max. values) I hope my English is not so poor and someone understand what I mean.
P. S. If someone wants to retrofit also the interieur mirror to one with camera. Try to get the frameless one 3G0857511AE. It looks much better!!!
Thanks in advance for your attention!

Hi,
Do you speak German language? if yes we can change to German language because I'm a German. Requests: What do you have for an interior mirror? May you take a look and tell me the part code? E. g. 3G0857511AD. It is labeled on the down side of the mirror. I made by mobile phone camera. Which year is you B8? If I know I can help you to find the right cable harness. In my car was installed the interior mirror 3G0857511AD. It is equipped with automatic dimming function. So I had to install only 2 cables from the interior mirror to the driver lower cockpit. Because in my case I had to connect the cables to control unit 19 Gateway or control unit 55 LWR. I decided to use the LWR. I bought the cable harness in the k-electronics online shop. You get the cables + a short install manual delivered. It is easy and the guys works quickly.
Please send the information about your installed units and if you speaks German language we can make a call. Numbers we can send us by PN. Otherwise we have to write. But I help you, no problem. If you need, I have a matching interior mirror too much because I made a mistake during my detection and at the End I ordered two :-) . But you don't have to buy from me!!! It is only an information.
Bye redplayerb8
