Hi All,
I really want to program my Mk6 Golf GT (2009) folding mirrors to close when I lock the doors (press and hold lock).
I've been trying to research ways to code this in, but have read a few times that it's not possible without rewiring something in the door; and I've also read that that's not true for UK versions of the Golf, and that I should be able to code it... I'm confused!
I also notice there's a one touch app that does this, but when I try with my car is says that it isn't available.
This is driving me a bit nuts as this single mod is a big reason for me buying the OBDeleven. Can anyone help please?
I have a Pro licence, so am able to long code - if anyone can suggest a way that I can code this manually I'll happily try it!
Thanks

Hello, that's true it's only possible by taking off the door module and read eeprom with a programmer and modify some HEX data. Or you can search for a module that supports folding mirror by remote.

Hmmmmm okay. Would I need specialist equipment to modify the EEPROM? Are there any tutorials knocking around that you know of?

I think can be done with VAS tool or any programmer tool. But yes you will need a specialist with proper tools.
