Hi, I've tried to enable personalization (=user profiles) on my pre FL e-Golf like described here: obdeleven.proboards.com/thread/2161/enable-personalizationHowever my 09 module does not have below coding bits - all others are there: Anzahl_Benutzerkonten: 4 Automatische_ Schluesselzuordnung: not active PSO_FSG_Setup2_Bit_1: active PSO_FSG_Setup2_Bit_2: active PSO_FSG_Setup2_Bit_3: not active PSO_FSG_Setup2_Bit_4: not active
and it isn't working as expected. I get the Profiles Selection in the Car Options menu, but whenever I edit User profiles, the edit does either not work or it looks like the car gets not updated properly, with what I have configured ... after ignition Off/On everything is back to default ... and some unnamed profiles (from the previous owner of the MIB2 maybe). I have to add, my car is a bit special, because it has a 5F module MIB2 and an AID retrofitted. any ideas what could be wrong here? I've tried both "konto 1.0 and 2.0" and made sure that CAN went to sleep after changing settings.

In the 09 with Long Coding still in place, there should be an Long Coding Bit for enabling Personalisation at all. I had to enable Byte 8 Bit 2 to see Personalisation in the Infotainment.

I have enabled it with said coding after all (it's not labeled, so use the developer mode) on a 5Q0937086AK in a prefacelift, yet one of the very last cars of the line, probably the form the last day the pFL was made.
You can try this coding, even when the adaptions are not there. I did not have to change anything in the infotainment, the UI rebooted and showed up the profiles.

Thx newty,
that bit is already enabled on my side 5Q0937084AJ (BCM MQBAB H) most codings are there, only the above entries were missing.... and I'm getting the the "Personalization" menu on my screen.
It seems however, that there is some communication issue between the MIB (5F) and the BCM.
If I code "Konto 1.x" type, I cannot event modify the Profiles (names et. al) or select them. I can enable "personalization" on the screen, but cannot select a profile and after each engine restart, settings are back to their default.
If I code "Konto 2.x" I can change a name, but still cannot activate a profile or store any settings .... and if I try to change another profile, their order seems to mix up .... after restart, everything is back to default.
Could please share your version numbers and long codings of your Gateway (19) and MIB (15) .... such that I can compare them?
thx
