Does anyone know how to activate the auto door locks when you walk away with the key? I don't think so I wish it does. My old Mazda 3 had that functions 👍 |

My car had this originally but it was deactivated when I bought an extra key and I really don’t feel like taking it back to the dealer. If anyone shows the coding for this, it would be much appreciated.

I found this on another thread but it doesn’t appear to work. Has anyone activated this successfully? Automatically lock when key is outside the car and doors are closed 05 - Acc/Start Auth. Confirmed that this works for Atlas:
Security access is 20103
1). Go to B7 Module - Access Startsystem Interface
2). Open long coding and enable 'easy_close'
3). Select Adaptation - internal_passive_entry_exit 1
4). Activate passive_exit_door_slam_lock
5). Reset 'Opening and Closing' to Factory Settings from Car Menu
There's two options in adaptation - All Doors and Access Door - not sure what each of those do.
With door slam active - car locks as soon as you close any door. Mirrors don't fold.

My wife just realized it doesn't lock when she walks away... ahhahahaha. I'll do this so nobody steals our Atlas 😃

It works! However, in your 2) above, it should be enable "easy_close", not "easy_open". Thanks - I was recalling from memory so got that wrong. Corrected now. |

How do I reset open and closing? I don’t see a reset option under My Car area in OBD11.

You have do that in the infotainment system in the car

One issue. Say my wife gets out and it auto locks. When I get in next with my key it won't start in my profile. She has to actually lock it with the fob or the door handle for it to "zero out" the profiles.

I'll look for the door slam option, too often the doors lock after I enter the vehicle with my key, can't unlock without using the fob or alarm if I open the door.

Anyone figure out how to get the mirrors to fold 'automatically' (not needing button press) when Auto Lock is activated?

It should work, they seem to be the same internal modules and if the options are there it will most likely work. If it doesnt work you can always program it back to default. This type of change should not at all be at risk of breaking anything if it doesnt work.
