I've got a 2009 (MK5?) VW Rabbit. The batteries in the TPMS sensors are dying, and I also purchased summer wheels. I can't really spend another 300-400 dollars to replace 8 TPMS sensors. I'd like to use the indirect method.
I'm very confused about how to use OBD eleven beyond simple scanning. I can never seem to get long coding to work. Can anyone help me?

The Mk 5 has no batteries inside TPMS sensors OEM. It's measuring wheel circumference. I don't know if you own a Mk 6 or have retrofit equipment ...
