Hi!
I have ACC, Front-, Light- and Lane-Assist, but Lane-Assist is deactivate lower than 65kmh. Can i activate Traffic Jam Assist on my Passat R-Line B8 10/2015 without DSG?

The tool vcp is able to activate TJA - regardless of the lack of DSG (there are some problems regarding cars without electric parking brake). Still, Lane Assist below 65km/h will need ACC to be active and running - which isn't really comfortable to drive at low speeds in my opinion.

I Might be wrong but i think to add Traffic jam assist you need to flash the module with new software.

Flashing isnt always necessary, this is mostly needed when there are no matching parameters avaliable in VCP.
Still: The TJA in the variant VW is able to support it only is a Parameterset in A5, nothing else involved. When applying these parameters to a a car previously coded for Lane Assist, there is nothing to do in coding or Adaption.
Parameters are not suppported by OBD11

I didn't quite understand why Traffic Jam Assist cannot be activated using OBDEleven. Can you elaborate on this?

Control Units can have 4 levels of Software: Firmware Parameters Adaption Coding
We all know that OBD11 is changing adaptions and coding primarily. TJA is set in the Parameters. Parameters are difficult to obtain, as they are just pouring out of VWs server when asking for a specific VIN+Firmware combination. There is no description of them, like we have it for Adaptions in Coding odx-files. So this is just a bigger data stream with no indication where to even look. For the camera, they include a lot of other things like camera position and angle, how the steering works, how lane assist should work and display.
Also, there is no way to download parameters from a control module, the only way to get them is to intercept an ODIS parameter download from the server. VCP brings a whole bunch of parameters with it, which you can "clone" on your camera, hoping that all other things in the file they intercepted matches your car...
