Hello,

Two months ago I bought Audi A3 8V 2017. My car was imported to EU from USA. Dealer installed EU version of MMI, and unfortunately factory-installed reverse camera is not working

. The camera has started sometime for few seconds, and MMI close the rear view - this happened only two times when I switched on reverse gear.

I bought OBDeleven PRO, and set "6C Camera System Rear View". It's still not working

.

Version of my MMI: 0148. I think I have MMI 3G+, because I have SIM card slot in my car. Below I attached OBDeleven full scan log. Do you have any ideas what can I do with it?

Hey, The coding for your camera is good, and there are no errors on 5f about the camera so its probably ok.

Try to go into 5f - do the security access - adaptations - Car_Function_List_BAP_Gen2 - and change the settings on your car to the settings here

Thanks for the answer.

I have activated VPS_0x0B, but on VPS_0x0B_msg_bus I have: Terminal 15 - I changed it to Databus Infotainment but result is still the same

. Do I have to restart MMI to see changes? After restart a car, camera is still not working

.

In 6C module, I have fault: Databus missing message
static . Do you know what can I do?

PS. Maybe it's important - my version of car, doesn't have parking sensors, only factory-installed camera.

Today I've noted interesting thing - camera is working only few seconds, when MMI is starting, after it started - MMI close camera view. When i switch car to reverse gear, and manually restart MMI camera view shows again for few seconds.

My friend had the same problem. He had to set NOT ACTIVE in "parking assist_0x0A" in central 5F and now the camera works
