Hello, Is the application "Video in Motion" at Golf 7 facelift 2018 with Dicover Pro functional? Are errors in the error memory after the application?

VIM Yes the OBD eleven app works ,just make sure the video format is correct, you can use itune to convert your video to the correct playable format ( convert to ipod / iphone version) But I find think discover Pro support bluetooth video playback, I have used the app for both MiB 2 and mib 2.5/ 3 and it works Great

Vim is just the video your watching doesn’t switch off when your driving, that’s it, I can’t remember what format it needs to be but a normal DVD works, but any other video needs to be a certain FPS and bit rate, I have music videos on a sd card so go into media, select the sd card, then there’s like a little clapper board 🎬 press that and the picture comes on the screen and away you go
I think it’s 780p (but 480p works just fine as it’s a small screen) then convert to
resolution (720 x 576 resolution)
codec (x264)
file extension (mp4)
bit rate <1000 kb/s

So it’s not like just playing YouTube. Can it play videos from iPhone?
Hmm. Lots a work then, copy, format, save, etc. :-)

I dunno, I don’t use CarPlay anymore due to the limitations, now I remember playing something from YouTube via Bluetooth but can’t remember if it only played the audio or had video as well (but I think it was just audio)

With apple CarPlay, you can reproduce a video of YouTube, but only can hear the sound. The video can not reproduce because the protection of CarPlay is running. Apple don’t want you see any video on this system. But you can hear the music..... you can make a play list of YouTube video music, for example....
