My parking pilot always activates when I reach 7mph
it should only activate when something is near it
does anyone know how I can change it to motion activated

My parking pilot always activates when I reach 7mph it should only activate when something is near it does anyone know how I can change it to motion activated Ari: Not sure which system you are referring-to: Parking assistant - J791, or Parking Aid - J446. Anyhow, just as a suggestion- try looking in adaptations in Park/Steer Assist (this the VCDS descriptor) control module - its address hex10.
There should be 2 x adaptation channels as follows (default values from my car shown):
Alter the settings to suit
Don PS: If you need a security code to alter the channels, try 71679 or 20103

It's the parking assist, the switch off speed is what you said 15km/h
Which I believe is around 7mph
But every time I go Over 7mph them slow down to 7mph the park assist screen always comes on my screen ?
