Hi,
I saw the announcement about the iOS version and new hardware.
I am currently planning to switch to an iPhone from my current Android phone which I've been using OBDeleven Pro with.
Do I understand correctly that the iOS version will only work with the new hardware and I won't be able to use my current OBDeleven Pro with it? That would be quite painful.
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
yes you need the new dongle for the IOS version. There are some things that force the devs to publish new hardware. OBDeleven PRO is no hardware at all. The pro upgrade just unlocks more "virtual" features.(It's connected to your account) I would say that you can use your current OBDeleven account with the new IOS version but that's ONLY my opinion. If that is possible you only have to buy the new IOS dongle. You'll have to wait until the devs publish more information if you wanna be 100% safe.

Yeah that's what I thought.
I think I'll just keep my Android phone then as a backup phone and to use it with OBDeleven.
Thanks!

Been returning to the site every so often to see if an iOS version was going to be produced - this is great news for those who don't own an Android device to run the app! Will certainly order the device when it's ready.
