Just got this OBD11 pro and the first time I used it before I activated the PRO I was able to scan. Now, after I have activated it I waited over 20 minutes to scan and finally gave up. Is this normal? I am connected and have a good WIFI signal. Also, where do I go to log in with my credit code? AND, I read where someone on here got his vehicle's compass to display. Do I have one hidden in there somewhere that I can get to display? I have lots of questions and am looking forward to using this device.

The scantime depends on the car. If the car has more ECUs it'll take longer.
In general i would say a full scan should take around 2-8 min depending on your internet speed and so on.
In your case i would switch the car off, disconnect OBDeleven and try again.
You can redeem your credits if you go to:
1) Your profile
2) Click on wallet
3) Click on the little plus icon in the green circle
4) Click on Use code

Well,better luck today. 8 mins to scan. Must have had a bad signal yesterday.
Any reason why I can't get gauges when I make that selection? Says " gauges not available for this vehicle"

Due to the error message i would simply say that this function is not available for your car.
I don't know the exact reason maybe your car doesn't support gauges.
If someone knows it better let me know.
