I did a manual adjustment on my headlights and now they don't dance on start up. When I go to the headlight app in my OBDeleven Pro, it tells me to adjust the headlights go to xenon range control. This is something I can't find!!! Can anyone help?

This is something I can't find!!! Can anyone help? Im Pretty sure you need to do a basic setting for the headlights. After adjusment the headlight lost their point of refernce so you need to tell them that the current position is your prefered position and then they will remeber it. |

Can anyone instruct me on how to do this so I can get it in to basic settings, make the manual adjustments to the headlamps and then stop basic setting so I can save the new level?   |

Can anyone instruct me on how to do this so I can get it in to basic settings, make the manual adjustments to the headlamps and then stop basic setting so I can save the new level? ^^^ You will need to run 2 x separate procedures in the hex55 module like this:
Make sure the car is on level ground and that the suspension is settled
Procedure 1
- Select Xenon range control module @ address hex55
- Select Basic Settings
- Select Basic headlamp setting and start the procedure
- Normally this is where you would adjust the headlights using their manual adjusting screws as referenced against a suitable aiming target - but if the module has simply lost the existing settings, do nothing
- Wait a period of time (suggest 3 seconds)- then stop the procedure
Procedure 2 (still in Basic settings in hex55 module)
- Select Acknowledge basic setting and start the procedure
- The reference settings from Procedure 1 above should now be "recorded" in the module
- Wait a period of time (suggest 3 seconds)- then stop the procedure
- Back-out of the module, clear any error codes and exit OBD11 software (don't forget to disconnect the OBD11 dongle)

I see what you're saying. What my issue is that Procedure 1 Step 3 doesn't seem to be working properly. It just ends immediately.

Do I need the pro version to do these adjustments? When I tried on the standard version nothing happened.
