Hello everyone, I just wondering if it is possible to activate/unlock some funcions such as TPMS (Tire pressure monitoring system) and Lane assist on my Jetta R-Line BR version The Brazilian r-line version comes with digital cluster and acc (but only with front assist enabled) lane assist, rear traffic alert and other options do not even shows up on the list But the most annoying thing is the TPMS not available on the tire options menu (available on the new Polo) it’s possible to activate/unlock this feature?

Todas essas funções dependem de hardware. Provavelnte não vem com os equipamentos. Precisa checar antes se os equipamentos estão presentes

Are you talking the TPMS where the pressures come up on the screen for each different wheel? If so you’ll need to put sensors in the wheels and more hardware to revive info from the wheels

Hi kobawsky, I'm from Brazil too. Unfortunately, it seems to me that the ABS module (5Q0 614 517 EJ) that equips our Jetta is not compatible with indirect TPMS. It is possible to make a retrofit and install the direct model that comes in Tiguan. It is not possible to activate the lane assist function because a camera is required in the windshield, which doesn't come with our car model too. Again, just making a retrofit that consists of changing the windshield which represents a high cost.

Did anyone have news about "Indirect TPMS" for MK7 R-Line ?
I am pretty sure it can be done cause folks/companies offering VCDS professionally as services have shared about this on Internet/Instagram/Youtube channels.
I have tried some of the options shared here on this forum using OBDELEVEN but could not make it work.
I am guessing the bytes on the 3-Breaks part are different from GLI to Rline.
Thanks in advance for any tips on this matter !

but the car come already with sensors on the wheels when the pressure is low so we need to add more sensors to have the pressure for each tire?

In my Jetta R-Line I activated passive TPMS and so far everything works ok.
It does not measure pressure but warns when there is a pressure loss using ABS sensors.
With me he never gave an alert yet, but he also didn't give an error.
Here's what I used:
TPMS
03 Brakes Long Code Byte 27 - activate bits 4 and 6 Byte 28 - activate bit 8
5F Multimidia Adaptation -> Car Function List BAP Gen2 -> tire_pressure_system_0x07 -> set as active Sama place -> Tire_pressure_system_0x07_msg_bus -> set to "Suspension data Bus"
Adaptation -> Car Function Adaptations Gen2 -> operation-menu_display_rdk -> set as Active Same place -> menu_display_rdk_over_threshold_high > set as Active
17 Dashboard Long Code Byte 4 -> activate bit 0
Reset the multimedia by holding power button for 10 seconds.

Jetta - ODBEleven: Hi pauloon, Could you please share some additional details like: What is the model/year of your Jetta R-Line ? What is the Software Version / PartNumber of your MIB2 ? My Jetta R-Line is: Year: 2019 Model: 2019 Installed Software train version: MST2_EU_VW_P0890D Installed Software MU version: 0890 Part Number: 3Q0035864C Software version: H29.319.58_STD2Nav_EU I am using OBDEleven via iPhone/iOS app and I am not being able to find out: 03 - Breaks - Byte 28 17 - Dashboard - Byte4 Because of that, not able to complete the steps you have shared and have the Indirect TPMS to work. Anybody else facing the same ? Should I try using OBDEleven for Android ? Would that make a difference ? Thanks ! Fleck
