I have a Tiguan 2014, and I wish to have automatic folding mirrors get closed when locking the car and opened when I unlock the car.

Have you got folding mirror? Push close button on FOB.

Try this:
1. Go to 42 Door Electronic Diver Side and 52 Door Electronic Passenger Side
Click Coding
In Mirror Fold-in and Mirror Memory: tick "installed""for both
2. Go to 42 Door Electronic Driver Side
In Security Access, try Code 04354 (this code is accepted in my 2016 Tiguan)
Click Adaptation
Go to System_Parameter_0. In Systemparameter Byte 8: enter New Value 99 (Mirror fold in when press and hold key fob, fold out when open the door) or New Value 95 (mirror fold in when press and hold key fob, fold out when turning ignition on)

You got this error is due to the driver side mirror does not have the memory fold down mirror function as compare to the passenger side mirror. Simply uncheck the driver side memory option from the list.

Ok, I did this and now the driver side is open & the passenger side is folded! I even tried to go back to the stock and it doesn't work. Passenger side remains folded while the driverside is open! HELP!

Ok, VW dealership replaced passenger side mirror and recoded I'm guessing both mirrors or full vehicle. They now both work with byte 8 changed to 99 with the dimple on the door handle. Haven't tried the remote yet.

I have done this mod and the mirrors fold and unfold perfectly, but the left turn signal light in the mirror has stopped working. Any idea on how to fix this?

hello I have try the procedure that was explain on top, and i dont see power mirror to code it so im lost.i get the door 42 or 52 but in long coding the mirror is not in the list . thanks if you can help any way thank sorry by the way i have a 2015 tiguan R line.

I purchased pro vag and tried the coding explained above, I followed all the steps but unfortunately it didn't work. car Tiguan 2014.
however, I managed to code the mirrors with 10 credits. Health and thanks, at least I tried.
