I have 'upgraded' my old Polo with a new Comfort Unit from a Fabia that includes remote central locking and I have successfully installed it with 2 new keys.

The first problem is that the window controls on the driver's side now operate the wrong way round for a right-hand drive car (the left button operates the right window) and there's a similar fault with the electric mirrors.

The second problem was caused when I was using OBDeleven - I accidentally turned off the 'Interior monitoring' option in the Comfort Module and now I cannot access either of these two modules - I just get a message saying not responding.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi mate did you find an answer I have the same but I think it's because my car did not have interior monitoring but the upgrade comfort control unit does and will show fault of open circuit and can't connect with interior monitoring because it's not fitted what do you think or am I smoking funny stuff cheers stephen

whataboutthis: le4dsoldier if you have a pre 2024 VAG motor that is supported and you have the Pro or Ultimate license you can code Adaptions and long Coding but after 2024 SFD2 STOPS YOU. SFD Can be unlocked but basic plan only allows you to use OCA Nov 21, 2024 16:52:53 GMT

whataboutthis: zuhair3434 just to confirm you are using the VAG app for your VW and the non VAG app for your BMW, in which case if you are using the non VAG app it should work and show you the OCA. Dec 1, 2024 15:27:09 GMT
