I have a Pro license and I can see "PRO" on my avatar in the top left menu. My ODBeleven is version 0.9.7 running on Android 4.2.2. My car is a 2012 Jetta Sportwagen 2.5L S.
I entered my VIN 3VWPP7AJ2CM709196 and OBD11 says I have a Jetta NAR (2010-2015). The Modification choices are Jetta NAR, Jetta GLI, and Jetta Hybird. The Body Type is set to Saloon regardless of my modification choice and cannot be changed. OBD11 was able to figure out that it was 2012 with a 2.5 i5 from the VIN so it is working to some degree.
I also can't find my car in "Supported models & Features".
The rest of the functions are hit or miss. For example, the "ESC deactivation V2" is the only app that works. The rest of them tell me to make sure the ignition is on. The scan function works and lets me clear faults but I get the same ignition error when I select a control unit to check faults.
It am getting sinking the feeling that OBDeleven does not support my car and I just wasted $80.
Can anyone explain why this is happening?
Thank you in advance!

You can send message to support in app and then they should correct your vehicle recognition.

I got this sorted out by calling some VW techs. They said to ignore the picture and the description. So long as the VIN is correct, you are good to go.
FWIW: Help in the app is a joke. First you get an automated canned reply telling you to search the forums, then a person sends you the exact same canned message.
