Did long coding for ”Dashboard”-module, and activated ”Tire pressure monitoring system”. When I noticed that I cant get actual pressure readings, I deactivated it. When I switch Ingnition on, TPMS- light starts blinking, then it stays permanent in AID. I did scanning, reseted error codes, did factory resetting (all systems), took battery cable off...nothing helped, TPMS light still on. What to do ?

No retrofitting. I thought because Im missing tire pressure readings (bars)in my Infotaiment (according manual there should be), this long coding should bring them visible. I did coding, but there was no change in Infotaiment, only yellow TPMS-warning light appeared to AID. So I wanted to cancel this, thus deactivating that coding, but that didnt help at all; TMPS-light is still there in AID. There is no errors in Infotaiment. This should be simple task, but I dont know why deactivating doesnt apply at all. I know (now) that Tiguan has indirect TPMS via ABS-system, so there is no way get pressure readings at all. One advise is to drive long enough (over 100 km ?)then ABS should adapt "new" pressures  |
