Hallo hat diese codierung schon jemand probiert und kann sagen ob sie geht. Sie ist für US Standlicht dimmbar/abschaltbar über die fußraumbeleuchtung.
Hello did someone test this coding. Its for US Light and will be controlled by the footwell lights.

Test it today at golf mk7 gti 2016. Works fine, us light dimmable with footwell lights

Test it today at golf mk7 gti 2016. Works fine, us light dimmable with footwell lights Daniel: What a very strange set of Leuchte commands to put-together!!! From my reading of the instruction-set, I assume that the tweak makes the two front indicators illuminate whenever the footwell light is switched-on (why would anyone want this to happen?) Anyhow, my purpose in writing is to suggest a word of caution. Not sure if you are aware that the the two front turn-signal fittings on a mk7 have a reduced power-rating. In normal operation, these two lamps operate on what lighting engineers call a 50% duty cycle which means that the lamp is turned-off for the same time that the lamp is turned-on. This also means that the fitting only needs to withstand a heating-effect that is 25% of what is needed if the lamp was fully illuminated for 100% of the time (like most of the other lamps). It's 25% because the heat generated is proportional to the square of the electrical current -50%^2=25%. VW take this into account when manufacturing the lamp base in the turn-signal fitting and as a consequence of cost-considerations, the lamp base has a reduced thermal rating. I'm telling you this because the design of any changes to the Leuchte settings for the two front turn-signals needs-to/should take the reduced thermal rating of the lamp base in to consideration. Modifications that extend the turn-on time of these lamps has the potential to melt the lamp fitting. This risk can be mitigated by reducing the dimmwert setting but finding the safe value is tricky because dimming happens by a mechanism called Pulse-Width-Modulation and the on/off times for PWM in the Leuchte commands differ depending on what setting is used in the Lasttyp channel. IMO the ONLY way to effectively mitigate the risk of melting the lamp base is to only apply changes to the two front turn-signals if the fittings have LED lamps!

Ok Don. I understand what you like to explain with maybe melting the fittings. I try to explain you why someone want this and i can tell you a lot of people in germany want this. People want this because the golf looks much better and more aggressiv when the turning lights (yellow) in front are little bit or little bit more illuminated. Especially tuning gyus with extrem lowered cars. Its a bit of us car style. Now i tell you why to couple it with footwell lights, when drl are on there are no illuminated turning lights, this is for normal day driving in germany. When i put the switch to headlight or sidelights the turning lights are on. Looks really great when car has only sidelights and turning lights on. So when police comes in germany (its not allowed to have another light then white for headlights or sidelights) you will get a ticket and have to pay, also when you have to go to tüv in germany its a big problem. The footwell lights i can turn on amd of in car menü and also steer the brightness, when i couple the turning lights with footwell lights they also dimmable and can be turned off for much situations. My friend drives now may 2 months or so with these amd there are no signs for meltin on lamp socket. Sorry for my bad english, i hope you understand it.
Ps: for led turning lights like r golf it have were dont able to do a coding for led turning lights yet.the leds are on or off we dont find a way to dimm them. But no matter
