Hi everyone,
Awesome community! I really love obdeleven. It reminds me of my iphone jailbreaking days.
Anyway. I have coded my brake lights so that both inner and outer come on when I hit the brakes. The problem I am having is that when I hit the brakes, the turn signal light comes on as well. I only want the turn signal light to come on when I turn on the signal, not when braking.
Is there anyone who can help me fix this issue?
Thanks so much!

fencesitter, Not my car but to help others to help you can you put up the coding you used just in case (and if possible where you got it from) it was wrong Then next question is have you checked you input the coding correctly, if you are not sure how to then have a look in your History tab so that you can see exactly what you changed.

Perfect I have updated your picture link and used the IMG Link,
Can you now post a copy of your History file so we can double check you have entered it correctly.
Cheers

Thanks. On the 2017 Golf Sportwagen (Highline - Canada) there is a single rectangular section on the light for the turn signal. I don't want that to light up when I hit the brakes. So in the picture above, I want the inner and outer to light up on both sides when braking, but when putting on the turn signal I want both inner and outer to blink with the lower rectangle. I hope that makes sense.
I also did not do any long coding that I am aware of...I only used the app and the adaptations. So I do not know what the long coding is for in the history.

ok the coding you have done matches your instructions. The Long coding is as a result of the Apps (they do the long coding for you) normally. With regards to how you adapt this coding to give you what you want I will leave that to vwjap or dv52 (Australia) as they are the experts on the golf.

fencesitter: Hi
OK , so because I always have problems with accents (incidentally, I don't have an accent of any kind), I will paraphrase what I believe that you want: You want the inner tails on each side of the car to do exactly what the outer tails do - is that correct?
If so, why not simply change the settings on the inner tails to reflect those on the outer tails?
The only proviso that I can think-of is if your outer tails are programmed for Single-Sided Parking Lights. If this is the case, you might have to ignore the Leuchte-commands for SSPL on the inner tails - or else SSPL will operate accross both outer and inner tails on the respective side of the car
Don
PS: the changes that I suggest above are purely adaptation channel related - no Long Coding changes are necessary
