Hello,
I have a 2014 Tiguan Trendline (S) with the base model steering wheel and today upgraded to 2016 (MK1 FL) Highline MFSW along with airbag and steering wheel control module.
Everything works! Steering wheel controls are all OK, the steering wheel lights up when lights on, and the swap went smoothly.
However some coding is necessary to update the electronics, as some errors have appeared:
U0212 Lost Communication With Steering Wheel Control Module 00778 Steering Angle Sensor No signal/communication U01325 Tire Pressure Monitoring Control Module (my car doesnt have TPMS) No signal/communication 02546 Steering limit stop no or incorrect basic setting/adaptation
Also the "Service" interval in MFI represents Highline the MFSW came from rather than my car. I also tried to set TPMS tire pressure but got "Tire pressures could not be stored". There's also an error "Error: stabilization control (ESC)".
I have an OBDEleven Pro but can't find any obvious locations to update for the MSFW upgrade.
Could anyone here point me in the right direction to solve these faults?
Thanks!

What was the part number and software version of your old steering electronic module, and also the the same details from your new one ??

Hello, I have a tiguan 2012 trendline, I would like to install a MFSW but using the k-can bus from a vw golf donor external module probably year 2009, I don't want to remove the original module from the steering wheel, is it possible ?
