Same issue, I hope OBDeleven developers let us know how to apply this even using the 100 credits worth application.

Hi. Same problem. I have a Q7 2017 MMI version 1117. Got the obdeleven pro to remove the speed restriction to play back DVDs for kids. First I did not expect to have to buy credits after paying for the connector and pro version but I did and got 100 after having to get my sons fire tablet installed with google play apk files to allow the purchase. (Iphone not supported). Then I used the credits to only get sound working while driving.... Only then did I notice that in the obdeleven app it states that will not work on version 1116 or newer and then discovered I was on 1117:( sooooo frustrating and have emailed out to support for help but I am not holding my breath. It also seems there will be no work around for long coding as have searched the internet for this with no luck

Update from support on VIM for system with version 1117. At the moment there is no fix for that but they are working on it. I asked how to register to get informed when update is available and they state We will find the way somehow to report it. so fingers crossed  |

I have version 0917, VIM works perfect, but when I would update to the latest one (version 1329), it will still work or it does stop working ?

It won't work with that version, I updated mmi to Audi MMI Mib2 - MHI2Q_ER_AUG22_P5092 - firmware update
ViM works perfectly now once activated.
Disclaimer, this worked for me and my car which doesn't mean it will work for you and your car. Do this at your own risk.
