Hi,
ever since i got my 2017 Seat Leon, sometimes the navigation system fails to startup. It says "Checking navigation resources" and keeps spinning forever. It's super annoying. The only workaround I have found is to eject and re-insert the micro-sd, or hard resetting the system keeping the power button down for 30 seconds.
After performing any of these 2 actions, it goes back working normally.
The dealer already replaced my SD but the problem keeps occurring. It's been 11 months now and it's driving me crazy.
Has any of you ever experienced anything similar?
Is there a way to solve this via coding?
Thanks a lot

I have not seen this problem before
I am not aware of any coding to fix this.
I would always advise you to take it back to the dealer and get them to fix it. If you do some coding and then another problem comes they may refuse you warranty because you have make changes..
Just keep pushing the dealer and talk with Seat Customer Services. Also raise the issue on any forums or facebook groups but to me it sounds like hardware (not that I know what the issue is)

The car's been sitting at the dealer twice for multiple days searching for a solution, they told me they're aware of the problem, i'm not the only user affected and they'll roll out a software update soon. They're telling me this since last september. Other dealers, more recently, told me the same.

Sounds about right for Seat / VAG dealers, I still would not code anything to try and resolve it just in case.
I am guessing (and it is nothing more than that) that this is a firmware issue which you cant use obd11 to fix. I would get on to Seat Customer services and complain, Make more of a noise with your dealer saying you bought a car that is supposed to work Fully it does not. Tell them you will start raising the issue with complaint.resolver.co.uk
Afraid default position is do as little as possible
