Hey everyone, driving a MK4 with the 2.0 AQY engine. MY is 2001 and I just recently received my obdeleven. The app only detects one ECU (engine). At my third try the app also detected the tacho ECU. What about the other ECU's???

Older cars don't have that much ECUs(some have more some have less). That really depends on the car and the construction year.

The only way to fix that would be contacting the devs/support via the app.

Just in case its always worth doing the following
and
Its also very important you have strong internet connection so make sure you are near you home router if possible.
Lastly remove the donge and put it back in ensuring its fully seated.

Hello, i have a Golf4 (1J5, MJ2002) with AXR engine. OBDeleven find no controller. Not even the engine control unit. Clear app and bluetooth data, brought no improvement.
I can connect with vehicle (it shows the battery voltage) but i don't can choose any controllers.
When i clear den vehicle in garage from OBDeleven and add it manuel with VIN, then no control units are displayed which would have the vehicle. It's that a problem with database from OBDeleven? best regards |

Have you got any adapter between OBD2 and OBDeleven?
Sometimes I had adapter which haven't got all connections between devices.

With VCDS u can connect to all ECU's.
I think the OBDeleven Database have no list wirh ECU adresses for this vehicle.
Can i choose manuely the adress of ECU? Example, engine control unit is asrdress 01 or KI adress 17 ?
